π Stuff to Listen to...
π§ This week, my aural treat is Laugh Track by The National, a 'companion piece' to the Ohio bands album 'First two pages of Frankenstein' from earlier in 2023.
This collection, develops the ideas a little further and contains a fantastic duet with Phoebe Bridgers on the title track, and further pits a female vocalist against Matt Berningers voice by inviting Rosanne Cash to guest on Crumble.
For me, the best is saved for last with the epic 'Smoke Detector' taking us home.
Stuff someone said. Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavour. Truman Capote.
