๐ Stuff to Listen to...
๐ง This week's audio treat is an album I slept on earlier in the year, but could be a great one to listen to as you relax in the run up to a busy holiday season.
Hinako Omori is a Japanese singer and songwriter based in London, and the latest offering is 'stillness.... softness...' released in October on Houndstooth Records.
This is a lovely collection of songs, sitting somewhere between dreamy pop and ethereal ambience, with some abstract twists and turns along the way.
I love the vocals, which sometime remind me of Kate Bush or Tori Amos. It's a gorgeous, lush sound which gets better with multiple listens.
Highly recommended album.
Stuff someone said.
Focus on what fascinates you, no matter how uncharacteristic. There is no purpose because there is no line connecting moments in time. There is no plot. You are not a story.
